About us

We are here to help parents raise happy & healthy children

Welcome to Parke N.S. school website, where the essence of our educational ethos is captured in our commitment to fostering the health and wellbeing of every child.

As you embark on this virtual tour of our school community, the values that define us beyond the traditional notion of education will be evident.

Here, learning transcends mere academic achievement; we as educators strive to facilitate self-discovery, creativity, and resilience in a nurturing environment.

Daily activities

Designed to help children realise their potential

Amber Flag

Wellbeing is a priority in our school, as is evident through our engagement with the “Amber Flag Initiative”. Our Amber Flag committee, the “Wellbeing Warriors”, meet regularly to discuss activities that encourage wellbeing among the pupil population.

Parke Buddy Bench

Our buddy bench is a space where our students can sit on if they ever feel sad, upset, worried or perhaps just a little bit lonely. It is a place where friendships are built

Active Flag

As an Active school we are promoting physical activity in our school community through the Active Flag initiative. Our Active Flag committee is comprised of pupils from 5th and 6th class. Our Active breaks and Line breaks encourage physical activity during and after playtime. Our Active Flag Slogan is STOP SCROLLING JUST KEEP STROLLING

Parke N.S. Garden

We have created a sensory garden in which we grow our own vegetables annually. Our gardener Martin visits our school throughout the year for planting days and the promotion of recycling and biodiversity in Parke National School.

We have Mindful Monday / Talk it out Tuesdays / Wise Words Wednesdays / Thankful Thursdays / Fab Fridays.
During Wellbeing Week, our activities include:
